To date I have made over 300 quilts, including double-sided quilts! As a young girl my mom Judy, my Grandma Bev, and my Grandma Lucy would sew and I would watch them. They taught me how to use the machines and the sewing terms. My mom sewed costumes for plays, dresses for dances, and of course many stirrup pants back in the 80’s. Grandma Bev made my mom’s wedding dress and her bridesmaid’s dresses. Grandma Bev and I made my bridesmaid dresses also.

These amazing women are an inspiration and they passed on their love of sewing to me. My mom does the quilt quality control for me and looks over each quilt. I have two daughters and they want nothing to do with a sewing machine unless you could talk into it and have it run by itself. They say they live in a quilt factory.
